Raise money with a live online duck race.

Made for volunteers

PTAs, scout groups, sports clubs, churches and small charities. If you've ever run a bake sale or a sponsored walk, you can run one of these.

No technical know-how needed

If you can send an email and fill in a form, you can run a race. Most people set theirs up in about half an hour. The hardest part is deciding what to charge for a duck.

No plastic in the river

A traditional race puts hundreds of plastic ducks in a river, and not all of them come back. Ours are digital, so there's nothing to buy, lose or throw away. Your supporters can join from anywhere.

It runs itself

One volunteer can run the whole thing. There are no stalls to staff and no cash to count: supporters join in and pay online. On race day, just press start and we'll take care of the rest.

Choose your race style

Run your race one of two ways, whichever suits your event.

Supporters adopt a duck

Everyone pays an entry fee for a duck of their own, then names and dresses it. You set the price. Set a limit on the number of ducks and the page counts down the places left, which is a good way to sell the last few.

You enter the ducks

Enter one duck for each class, team or house. Supporters donate any amount to cheer one on, and their message of support appears over the course while the race runs.

Plenty of fundraising sites quietly take a cut. We don't.

The only deduction is the card processing fee, which we show in full and never mark up. At checkout, supporters can choose to cover it for you and add a little towards running Pledglings. It's optional, and they can set it to zero.
